What is Tasbih?

Tasbih is the practice of glorifying Allah through short phrases of remembrance (dhikr) — most commonly "SubhanAllah" (Glory be to Allah) — repeated a set number of times. Traditionally counted on a string of prayer beads (also called a tasbih or misbaha), it is one of the simplest and most consistent forms of daily worship, requiring no special time or place.

How many times should you repeat it?

A widely known practice, based on authentic hadith, is to say SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) 33 times, and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) 33 or 34 times after each of the five daily prayers — bringing the total to 100. Many people also aim for 100 repetitions of a single phrase, such as SubhanAllahi wa bihamdih, as a standalone act of remembrance throughout the day. This counter includes quick targets for 33, 99, and 100 so you can track whichever count you're aiming for.
