قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿١﴾
لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٢﴾
Ik zal niet aanbidden wat gij aanbidt,
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ﴿٣﴾
Noch zult gij aanbidden wat ik aanbid.
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ ﴿٤﴾
Ik aanbid geenzins wat gij aanbidt.
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ﴿٥﴾
Gij aanbidt niet wat ik aanbid.
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ ﴿٦﴾
Gij hebt uw Godsdienst, en ik heb mijn godsdienst.
